You can sit with us.

Our gatherings are rooted in yoga + meditation through practice of the breath, body or its philosophies. We believe that yoga and meditation are two of the most powerful tools to create compassion and tolerance for oneself and others.

Gathering consist of a different type of practice, expert discussions, or a time for our community to reflect and socialize with one another. Join us.

Current Series

We examine different types of harmful internal dialogue, created by us and societal narratives. Through practice and discussion, we take these attacks and explore tools and ways to challenge them, and perhaps even find new ways to celebrate ourselves in these spaces. These topics include empowering our feelings of otherness, eradicating body shame and allowing ourselves time to rest.

Past Gatherings

Meditating on What Matters: Empowering the Other

To celebrate Pride, we held our first Meditating on What Matters gathering, asking: What are the ways in which we can feel empowered in our everyday lives and in times when we feel other-ized? How can we transform the feeling of marginalization into empowerment — and how can we share that with our communities?

Meditation: Marisa Viola
Panel: Kajuan Douglas, Founder of Merge NY; Travis Ostreich, designer; Doreen Pierre, blogger, model, and LGBTQIA+ community organizer; Marisa Viola, meditation teacher. Moderated by Mike Kelton.

Partners: Setu + Merge NY
Beverages: Drink Fresh Juice

This is the power of gathering: it inspires us, delightfully, to be more hopeful, more joyful, more thoughtful: in a word, more alive.
